Motion tokens
Reusing one spring curve across tabs, popovers, and dialogs makes the whole interface feel connected. The motion reads as one system instead of a set of unrelated component demos.
Entry timing
The first thing that should settle is the large shape or container. After that, labels, counters, and supporting copy can catch up a fraction later without making the transition feel noisy or overproduced.
Interaction states
Small controls still benefit from spring motion, but the travel distance has to stay tight. A short overshoot on open and a clean, readable collapse on close usually feels better than large theatrical movement.
